You've researched all the options, spent hours deciding on the colour and chosen the perfect car for you. Once we've dotted the i's and crossed the t's, we will call you to find a time convenient for you and take any details we need to prepare the handover of your new car.

Keeping you safe.

It's the day you've been looking forward to - new car handover day. Your delivery driver will keep a 2 metre distance at all times and will be wearing protective gloves and, where possible, a face mask. Make sure to keep your phone close as your delivery driver will call you when they arrive, rather than knocking on the door.

The handover process.

Your car will be delivered with a driver seat cover that your delivery driver will remove on arrival and dispose of appropriately. They will also wipe down all surfaces with disinfectant to make sure your car is in pristine condition. There will be a small amount of documentation to finalise on the day to make sure you're completely satisfied with the delivery.

It's all yours.

You car has arrived. You've completed your paperwork, now just take a look on the driver's seat to find a set of sanitised keys. You will also receive a digital handover video, recorded by your Retailer, showing you the key features of your new car so you are ready to take to the road. As always, if any questions pop up after the handover, please get in contact with your chosen Retailer.

Home delivery Terms and Conditions

  • Participating Retailers only
  • Home delivery available in UK and Northern Ireland. Excludes IOM, IOW and Channel Islands.
  • Retailers will discuss the optimum delivery method and timing to suit your personal preference at your point of purchase and additional costs may apply
  • All Home deliveries will be carried out in accordance with the latest advice in line with COVID-19 government guidelines
  • For your confidence, our home deliveries will comply with the following social distancing and hygiene measures:
    • Pre-call by Retailer to arrange convenient date for delivery.
      • Opportunity to confirm whether anyone in the household is currently suffering from Coronavirus or self-isolating
      • Explanation that the vehicle payment will be completed prior to delivery
      • Confirmation the delivery will be conducted in accordance with social distancing guidelines at all times, in line with government guidance
      • Further pre-call by driver on the day of delivery to re-confirm
      • If customer experiencing any Coronavirus symptoms, delivery will be re-scheduled
  • 1 delivery driver to keep at least 2 meters distance at all times
  • Delivery driver will wear a new pair of protective gloves throughout handover process. If available, a face mask should also be worn
  • On arrival, the delivery driver calls the customer, rather than approach the front door
    • Driver will request to see customer’s driving licence or passport to verify identity. This should be through a window, to maintain social distance
  • The vehicle will be delivered with driver seat cover, which delivery driver will remove on handover and dispose of appropriately
  • Delivery driver will wipe down key surfaces (steering wheel, gear lever, stalks, door handles) with suitable disinfectant product and new clean cloth
  • Handover documentation to be completed on delivery
    • If any documents are paper-based they will be left in the car for customer to sign with their own pen
  • Keys are sanitised in front of customer and left on driver seat
  • Digital handover video provided by Retailer to explain vehicle controls
  • If required, a more detailed handover can be scheduled for a date in the future
